Synopsis: Val (Al Pacino) is released from prison after serving twenty-eight years for refusing to give up one of his close criminal associates. His best friend Doc (Christopher Walken) is there to pick him up, and the two soon re-team with another old pal, Hirsch (Alan Arkin). Their bond is as strong as ever, and the three reflect on freedom lost and gained, loyalties ebbed and flowed, and days of glory gone by. But one of the friends is keeping a dangerous secret- he has been put in an impossible quandary by a former mob boss, and his time to find an acceptable alternative is running out. As the sun rises on the guys legendary reunion, their position becomes more and more desperate and they finally confront their past once and for all.

There were some scheduling issues earlier this week so we had removed Hugo from our website. however, those scheduling issues have been resolved so the show will go on and Hugo will be shown TONIGHT in Cubberley at 8pm. We hope to see you out there!

If you've ever enjoyed a Flicks screening or want Flicks to exist next year please sign our petition. Apologies for the technical issues at Transformers

Sincere apologies to those who made it to the showing of Transformers: Dark of the Moon tonight and had to sit through some of the technical difficulties. Flicks would like you to know we are planning on moving away from traditional 35mm film projection to all digital projection next quarter with the hope of eliminating technical difficulties like those we experienced tonight. We hope to see you at future showings with crisp and clean digital projection.

Change from the Rocky Horror Picture Show

Unfortunately, The Rocky Horror Picture show is not going to happen this Sunday, instead we will be showing the Nightmare Before Christmas. We unfortunately couldn't get actors to help act it out and make it the grand event we wanted it to be, especially since we had to it on a Sunday, so instead we've decided to show the Nightmare Before Christmas. We hope to see you at 8pm Sunday in CEMEX auditorium!

If you're a current student, a professor or someone on staff, an alumni, know someone who is going here, have met at some point in time someone you think may have gone to Stanford, etc. YOU can come to FLiCKS.
